Our Responsibilities

At Response Healthcare Group, we believe in taking charge and doing our part. That's why we've set up a strong Corporate Responsibility plan based on five key areas: Customers, Community, Health and Safety, the Environment, and our People. By really focusing on these areas, we're actively making a positive impact in everything we do. We aim to make things better and contribute to a healthier, safer, and greener future.

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels respected and valued. To promote diversity and inclusion, we have implemented policies and practices that ensure a diverse workforce. We actively seek feedback from employees to improve our efforts and foster a culture of mutual respect. We actively recruit and support a diverse workforce, that has covers thirteen different nationalities. Our goal is to have a team that reflects the diversity of our patients and the places we operate. Together, we deliver quality care for everyone.

Environmental Sustainability

We are dedicated to eco-friendly practices that reduce our environmental impact. Our organisation has implemented various green initiatives, such as switching to energy-efficient LED lighting and promoting towel usage reduction. Recycling plays a significant role in our waste reduction efforts, and we actively encourage reusing when possible. We prioritise the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products to minimise our environmental footprint. Additionally, our office has gone paperless, and we support our employees in adopting greener commuting options through our bike-to-work scheme. These actions reflect our commitment to a healthier planet and a sustainable future.

Furthermore, our commitment to environmental sustainability aligns seamlessly with our compliance with NHS net zero supplier timelines. We have synchronised our green initiatives and sustainability efforts with the specified timeframes outlined by the NHS net zero policy for suppliers.

Ethical Practices

We are dedicated to delivering exceptional care while upholding the highest ethical standards. Our ISO certification and GDPR compliance reflect our unwavering commitment to privacy and data security.

Our commitment to ethical practices goes beyond certifications and training. We employ state-of-the-art practice management to safeguard your digital health records, ensuring they remain confidential and protected from unauthorised access.

Our expert team is rigorously trained to handle your sensitive information responsibly, ensuring access is limited to authorised personnel. Trust in your healthcare provider is paramount, and at Response Healthcare Group, your trust is well-placed.

Employee Health and Wellbeing

At Response Healthcare, our employees come first. We prioritise their wellbeing by providing a supportive work environment and comprehensive benefits. This includes free flu jabs, eye tests, monthly health tips and discounted physio appointments for friends and family.

Employees at our David Lloyd club locations also enjoy a complimentary gym membership. Mental health support is available through confidential counselling services and we have several mental health first aiders. We offer professional development opportunities across all areas of the business and many employees have the opportunity to do split roles.

Community Engagement

Community engagement is a top priority. We actively promote health and wellness through local events and charities. Our dedicated healthcare professionals volunteer at clinics and hospitals across the UK, providing essential care. We inspire the next generation through internships and job shadowing. We also have the ‘Give Back’ project, allowing team members a paid day off to volunteer, making a difference in the lives of those in need. Together, we create a healthier and happier community.
